Gibraltar Intruder II pedal Reviews 5

I bought this from McCormicks in Glasgow, the price should have been £125 but this was the display pedal and didnt have a box so they gave it to me for £90.

This has proved a solid investment, I am a very loud drummer so I tend to need to put a bit of power behind my Bass strokes and this allows me to get great volume without too much effort. Its solidy constructed and extremely relaiable and the fact it has a double chain guarantees a smooth movement, this is especially useful for stuttered kicks. It is very easy to set up and operate as well. And the fact that most of the parts can be individually adjusted helps.

My only minor quibble is that the adjustable beater head has a tendancy to lift slightly when its played hard, this doesnt affect the performance per say though.

Very solid and dynamic, you will not have many wear and tear problems with this pedal.

I love this pedal it allows me the chance to play hard without having to worry about what my bass drum is going to sound like.
